New French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne stressed that her government’s priority is the low purchasing power of the French, noting that she will focus on improving this ability and help citizens cope with the high prices of many foodstuffs, especially gas and electricity.
Born said in an interview with French Channel One (TEV Anne): Increasing the purchasing power of the French and lowering energy prices are among the main priorities that are at the head of the work of the new government.
She added that the first package of laws that the government will introduce after parliamentary elections next June will mainly aim to help citizens cope with the high cost of living.
