The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the burning of copies of the Holy Quran by extremists in the Danish capital of Copenhagen in a new provocative move towards the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world. Recently, in a number of European capitals, regrets have been expressed under the pretext of freedom of expression, but there has been no clear reaction to the cessation of this practice.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the Kingdom’s request to all European governments in which these extremist violations have occurred to urgently address all these practices that contribute to hatred and conflict between the followers of religions.
