The Japanese newspaper “Sankai” reported that the Ukrainian embassy in Tokyo deleted its announcement that Japanese volunteers were recruited to fight in Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, Japan sent a protest note to the Ukrainian embassy upon the publication of this announcement.
After the ad was deleted, the Ukrainian embassy issued a call for humanitarian aid to Kiev.
The embassy had posted an announcement on “Twitter” about the conscription of Japanese who wanted to go to Ukraine to join the hostilities with the Ukrainian forces.
According to the embassy, about 70 Japanese have expressed their desire to join the “foreign legion” that Ukraine is currently working on.
It is noteworthy that Japan urges its citizens to leave the country as soon as possible and refrain from traveling to Ukraine.
