15 Mauritanian political parties won seats in the new Mauritanian parliament after a second round of legislative elections took place yesterday to determine the 36 seats that were deferred during the first round on 13 May. seats, followed by the National Rally for Reform. and Tawasul Development with 11 seats, then the Union for Democracy and Progress with 10 seats, followed by the Republican Front for Unity and Democracy with 7 seats.
The results showed that four parties, two of which are loyal and two opposition, shared three-quarters of the seats in parliament, winning 135 seats in parliament, or 76.70%.
