The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Indonesian city of Sulawesi on Monday morning. The center added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 12 km.
On Sunday, the center reported that the city of Al-Bustan in Kahramanmarash, Turkey, had been hit by a new earthquake.
He indicated that the magnitude of the earthquake was 4 on the Richter scale.
On the other hand, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit the Rajkot province of Gujarat in northwestern India.
The National Seismological Center of India said in a tweet on the microblogging site Twitter, reported by the Indian channel NDTV, that the earthquake occurred this afternoon, Sunday, at a depth of 10 km and 270 km from Raikot district.
The center added that there were no reports of injuries or damage.
