After the start of the session and after the end of the first session, the voting results were as follows: Michel Moawad 44 votes, 47 white papers, Issam Khalifa 6 votes, New Lebanon 7 votes and one document each for Ziad Baroud. and Ziad Hayek for Lebanon and the abolished newspaper. After the votes were counted, the 8 March deputies canceled the quorum, and the speaker of parliament, Nabih Berri, adjourned the meeting, announcing the holding of the sixth electoral session the next day, 17 November.
A constitutional debate took place between Berry and MP Melhem Khalaf, who proposed an open electoral session ending only with the election of a president, given that a two-thirds quorum should not be accepted.
