The Ministers of Labor of the Gulf Cooperation Council held their eighth meeting today in Riyadh under the leadership of His Excellency Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi (Chair of the current session), with the participation of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Council Cooperation of the Arab States of the Gulf by Dr. Naif Al-Hajraf. The meeting discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, including: the decisions of the High Council in the field of work and the results of the Business Development Research Committee, the Executive Office memorandum on the strategy of joint work of the Gulf in the field of work and labor, and the memorandum of the Executive Office on the international cooperation and experience of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
They also discussed joint efforts to achieve the goals of the ambitious plans of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council by implementing the strategic initiatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the field of labor and employment and the integration of citizens into the private sector, as well as increasing the level of its attractiveness.
