Mikhail Podolak, adviser to the chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed his belief that negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv representatives could take several weeks.
Podolyak said in a statement to the agency, “BloombergNegotiations can take several weeks or more.
“There are some concessions that we will definitely not make. We cannot give up any area,” he said.
Podolak noted that the main demands of the Ukrainian side are “ceasefire, withdrawal of forces and a political solution to the disputed areas”.
The first dialogue tour between Russia and Ukraine was held in the Gomel region of Belarus on February 28, and the meeting of the two delegations lasted for five hours.
After that, the two sides met again on March 3 and March 7. And on March 10.
Consultations were also held within the framework of the Diplomatic Forum held in Antalya, Turkey between the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Ukraine Sergey Lavrov and Dmitry Kuleba, and currently the negotiators continue to communicate via video conference.
