The head of the administration of the Desnyansky district, Dmitry Ratnikov, said on a TV program on Friday: “I read about your desire to remove me from my duties during the investigation. I propose to apply for dismissal together, you and I, at the same time. We work together for the people of Kiev, and we are responsible “Together. This is how men behave.”
He added: “Do you think that the heads of district administrations are fully responsible for everything that happens in the city. The question arises – then what is the responsibility of the mayor?”
On Thursday, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine announced the initiation of a criminal case into a closed shelter during an air raid. Four people were later arrested in connection with the incident. The city authorities instructed to check the possibility of free access to all shelters.
