The King Fahd International Stadium was founded in 1982 and took four years to complete, covering an area of 500,000 square meters, with innovative tent-like structures for the time, which is why it is also called the “tent” stadium.
Its stands accommodated 68,000 spectators, each fan was given a special place, and it was opened to receive matches in 1987.
