Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Khayal and Mr. Osama Hawsawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Players Association, signed a memorandum of cooperation between the university represented by the Center for Professional Practitioners and the Association at the headquarters university apartment in Jeddah.
The memorandum of cooperation between the two parties is aimed at achieving common programs and goals to support scientific and sports research, improve the quality of life of society, as well as provide technical, administrative, educational, legal, investment and advisory support to players and prepare them for post-exit to the retirement, in addition to enhancing the role of social responsibility through specialized programs and academic, research, development and training activities. The agreement also aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in investing in the human resources and capacity of each party to serve sport in the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, Vice President for Business and Knowledge Development, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Khayal welcomed the delegation of the Saudi Football Players Association and added that the university will work to enable the association to activate the agreement by providing training services and professional practices in all areas, to contribute to the development, to increase and maximize the benefits of all expected goals.
For his part, the head of the Saudi Football Association, Professor Osama Khavsavi, believes that the memorandum of cooperation with King Abdulaziz University opens an important window for development in various fields at all levels. Noting that the agreement will provide higher education services and training programs for members of the association, he expressed his desire for broader horizons in fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the association and the university.
