Speaker of the US House of Representatives Calls Hunter Biden’s Plea Deal a “Favorite Deal”
The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, has described the plea deal used by Hunter Biden as a “favorite deal”. He added that the latest facts should intensify the investigation into the US president’s son. McCarthy denied accusations that the attorney general in the case was a Trump supporter, stressing that it was Hunter Biden who should have been sentenced to prison for his crimes.
Hunter Biden Charged with Federal Tax and Gun Crimes
US media reported earlier today that the Justice Department charged Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, with federal tax and gun crimes. It was also reported that Hunter Biden made a deal to settle tax and gun charges and pleaded guilty in some crimes.
“Accepting this charge effectively means that if Hunter does not get into trouble for several years, the charge will be dropped in accordance with the agreement with the investigating authorities,” the ministry added.
Donald Trump Comments on the Deal
Former US President Donald Trump commented on the deal on the Truth Social platform, stating: “Biden’s corrupt DOJ removed hundreds of years of criminal liability by simply awarding Hunter Biden a traffic ticket. Our system is broken!”
