British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced additional aid worth £175m (more than $230m) to Ukraine.
At a joint press conference with his Canadian and Dutch colleagues, Johnson said Britain would join the Netherlands and Canada in an international support group for Ukraine to coordinate the international community’s efforts to provide long-term assistance, and urged other countries to join.
“After 12 days, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’in It’s already clear that he’s miscalculated. He underestimated the resistance of the Ukrainians, belittled their leader and belittled the unity of the West,” he said.in “We will continue to do everything we can to strengthen this unity in the coming days to ensure that Ukraine fails in this disastrous invasion,” he said.
