Tomorrow, Wednesday, the University of Jeddah will organize the first international sports science conference under the slogan “Sports Sciences: Economics, Health, Lifestyle” at the Conference Center at the University Headquarters at the Al-Faisaliya Branch in Jeddah, and it will last for two days .
The university’s initiative to host the conference is a recurring international conference that provides the Kingdom’s international leadership in the field of sports sciences to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the national vision in line with the achievements of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and what it has achieved in supporting the economy, improving the quality of life , achieving national transformation and developing health, education and human potential.
The conference will discuss several areas over two days through various dialogue sessions, including; Healthy sport and quality of life program in the vision of the Kingdom until 2030, as well as governance in the field of sports and its impact on reducing corruption in sports organizations.
The conference sheds light on women’s sports, artificial intelligence and digital transformation in the sports industry, as well as the role of sport in achieving financial and human investment, supporting the national economy and ensuring the contribution of software and technical devices to the development of sports. for determined people.
The first session will be devoted to a discussion of Saudi, Arab and international experiences in women’s sports with the participation of Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America and member of the International Olympic Committee, as well as President of the Federation of Special Olympics Saudi Arabia Dr. Maha Juffali.
Dialogue sessions of the conference are devoted to the role of sports media in changing the healthy lifestyle of people and the use of international and Arabic applied experience in the field of sports sciences.
