The Muslim World League welcomed the signing of the “Jeddah Declaration” between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which took place in the city of Jeddah at the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. Abdul Karim Al-Issa, in taking this important step to protect civilians and meet their needs, stressing the importance at this critical juncture of the commitment of the Sudanese parties to the agreed commitments in preparation for achieving a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire and finding a final solution to this painful crisis that has hit Sudan and its dear people.
Al-Issa praised the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the position of the Sudanese people in this dangerous situation, facilitating negotiations between the conflicting parties and overcoming all obstacles to achieve a comprehensive and peaceful solution that preserves Sudan’s security, unity and territorial integrity, as well as achieves the aspirations of its people for political and economic stability.
