Hussein Jadin, FAO Representative in Yemen, confirmed that the Kingdom, through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Affairs, supports the organization and supports its work in Yemen.
He added in an interview with Al-Ikhbariya that the Kingdom has provided $40 million to FAO to help victims in Yemen’s governorates, noting that Yemeni society has many needs; Because there are a lot of people affected by the war.
He stressed that he hopes to work with the King Salman Relief Center to help affected families live a better life.
It is worth noting that the Center for Humanitarian Aid and Assistance to King Salman signed an agreement on the implementation of a project to support education in Yemen.
The agreement was signed by Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Director General of the Center for Operations and Programs, at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh. The project will provide school uniforms and backpacks to 11,586 Yemeni children, while rehabilitating and improving the infrastructure of 23 schools in the governorates Hadramut, Al-Mahra, Aden, argument.
