Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein Al-Sheikh confirmed that the Palestinian Authority had rejected Israel’s request for a joint investigation into the murder of journalist Shirin Abu Akle.

He also emphasized that all evidence, evidence and witnesses point to the killing of Abu Akila by Israeli special forces.
The Palestinian minister blamed the killing on the Israeli government, indicating that the Palestinian Authority would refer the case to the International Criminal Court.
In parallel, the Palestinian Authority performed an autopsy on Shirin’s body, and the director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Ryan Al-Ali, said that part of the bullet that killed Shirin was recovered after hitting the head.
Al-Ali did not give details about the type of bullet or the weapon it was fired from, adding at a press conference yesterday that the matter requires completion of procedures at the crime lab.
Notably, Al Jazeera correspondent Abu Akil was shot dead during a raid by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank yesterday, Wednesday.
