The Acting Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs, Vocations and Leadership, Sheikh Awad bin Sebti Al Anzi, and the Deputy Secretary General for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Guinea in Conakry, Dr. Ibrahim Othman Bah, signed yesterday in the Guinean capital of Conakry an executive program memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry for Islamic Affairs, Vocation and Leadership and the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Guinea of Conakry in the field of Islamic Affairs, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Republic of Guinea Conakry, Dr. Hussein bin Nasser Al-Dahil and a number of high-ranking officials from both sides .
The Responsible Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs explained that the Executive Program is one of the programs offered by the Kingdom to Muslims in many countries of the world, which embodies the status of the Islamic Kingdom and its role in serving Islam and Muslims, and is an expansion, confirmation and consolidation of its message in support of the cause of Islam and Muslims.
Dr. Al-Dakhil praised the great efforts made by the wise leadership – may God bless him – in the service of Islam and Muslims, as well as extending a helping hand and kindness to the countries of the world, pointing out that the signing of the executive program of the MoU contributes to strengthening and reviving the bonds friendship and cooperation that has existed between the Kingdom and Guinea in various fields for decades.
Notably, the executive program includes holding three academic courses for qualified preachers, imams and preachers involved in religious affairs in Guinea and providing them with copies of the Holy Qur’an and translation of its meanings.
