The Joint Operations Command reported that since the beginning of this year, the Iraqi Air Force has managed to kill 200 terrorists, most of whom are leaders of the terrorist organization ISIS.
Maj. Gen. Tahsin Al-Khafaji, spokesman for Joint Operations, said in a statement to reporters that ISIS lives in a state of confusion and is present in groups in mountainous and hard-to-reach areas, noting that developments in the intelligence work of Iraqi forces and the clear cooperation of citizens have led to thwarted many of ISIS’ plans and allowed Iraqi forces to launch heavy strikes against the terrorist organization.
Al-Khafaji added that security plans have been put in place to completely end ISIS presence next year.
