Security services in al-Mahra governorate in eastern Yemen have arrested five Iranian sailors and a sixth with Pakistani citizenship who were smuggling drugs and poisons into the country. There is a large coastal strip in Yemen where Iranian sailors are actively involved in smuggling arms smuggling operations to the Houthi militias who committed coup, as well as drugs and poisons to kill and destroy the Yemeni people.
A provincial security source said in an exclusive statement to (Al-Madina):
Iranian and Pakistani sailors were arrested in sea currents off the coast of Hauf aboard an Iranian Jew, stressing that the devices cordoned off a Jew and they were dealt with and arrested with a lot of drugs and poisons, noting that it is on Iran’s agenda to target the Yemeni people with the support of the al-Houthi militia, a coup in waging war against the people of the country and their displacement, as well as the importation of drugs and poisons into the governorates of Yemen in order to control the country and bring it into a maelstrom of disputes and conflicts.
He added that the Iranian sailors admitted during the investigation that they had large quantities of drugs and some of them were thrown into the sea to get rid of them, stressing that they would be turned over to the judiciary to complete the legal procedures for their case.
