Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will visit Qatar, where the sixth summit of gas exporting countries is expected to be held on the 20-22 of this month.
The Iranian news agency reported that Raisi’s two-day visit came at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The agency added that two delegations from the two countries will sign various agreements and memorandums of understanding on the first day of the visit.
On the second day of the visit, my president will attend the sixth summit of gas exporting countries, along with a number of leaders and senior officials of gas producing countries.
It is noteworthy that Iran is the world’s second largest natural gas exporter after Russia, followed by the State of Qatar in the third place, and that the two countries (Iran and Qatar) have the world’s largest joint gas field. .
