For three days, international BMX bike shows were held in Al Khobar, Riyadh and Jeddah, where residents got to know this category of cycling closely, and also communicated with world stars, who, in turn, expressed their great admiration for the Kingdom and its people .
The Red Bull trio of Vicki Gomez, Kenny Pillay and Sinead Grosic performed in Al Khobar, Riyadh and Jeddah respectively. Rally champion and media personality Sultan Hamdi introduced the event, while international DJ Masaken added his touches to the event.
The activities lasted about two hours a day, including the “Trail Bike” and “Flatland BMX” shows, as well as other recreational activities. The performances reflected the ability of outstanding athletes to balance and control their bike.
Red Bull Mobile held the show on the first day in front of their store in Al Khobar before moving to the U-Walk in Riyadh the next day. The closing ceremony took place on the third and final day in Jeddah, where performances took place in front of a large audience in front of the Red Bull Mobile store.
During the return leg of the unique event that took place in the capital, the athletes expressed their joy to come to Saudi Arabia, perform and communicate with the population.
Vicki Gomez spoke about the “magnificence of the Saudi cities” he visited. He said, “I’m very impressed with this place, the audience was amazing, which encouraged me to take better shots and raise the level of the performances to match the enthusiastic atmosphere.” Gomez added: “It’s sad that this event has come to an end and that time has flown by so quickly and I will miss Saudi Arabia very much.”
As for Kenny Pillay, he, in turn, expressed the joy of being in Saudi Arabia and admiration for Riyadh, which he visited several times, pointing to the great growth observed in the country as a whole. He said: “Roaming in Saudi Arabia is great, especially the presentation of our performances in front of different people and cultures, as well as getting to know the atmosphere of different and interesting cities and places.”
The performances were greatly admired by the audience, who saw the stars of the sport defy the laws of gravity in a unique and fun way, while actively interacting with the audience.
