Yesterday, the Sports Arbitration Center officially closed the issue of signing player Mohamed Kanno to Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal clubs for the same period.
The Sports Arbitration Committee has established the Dispute Settlement Committee penalties it has signed in respect of each Al Hilal and Kanu, while reducing the financial penalty to be paid to the Al Nasr Club.
The Sports Arbitration Center yesterday announced its decision on the case, suspending Mohamed Knoh for 4 months and banning Al Hilal from registering for two consecutive transfer periods.
At the same time, the Center reduced the financial penalty imposed on Al-Hilal and Kanu, as it approved a joint financial penalty between the player and the club in the amount of 20 million and 306,899 rials instead of 27 million rials.
On May 1 last year, the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Saudi Arabian Football Association passed a decision obliging Al-Hilal, in solidarity with its player Muhammad Kanu, to pay financial compensation to Al-Nasr in the amount of 27 million riyals. In addition to banning Al-Hilal from registering players for two consecutive periods, in addition to a four-month ban on player Mohamed Knoh, the decision was appealed to the Sports Arbitration Centre.
For his part, President Al-Nasr Musli Al Muammar commented via his personal Twitter account, saying: “Unanimous decision in dispute settlement and unanimous decision in the Arbitration Center from experienced arbitrators specialized in sports law. Strict legal confirmation of the incorruptibility of Al-Nasr’s position and the justice of his cause.
And he concluded by saying, “O God, praise be to You, and we will always do our best to protect our rights to the highest level of litigation.
