Following the introduction of the difficult, leaderboard-based Mode in Modern Warfare II today, it has been revealed that Warzone 2 will have a ranked mode in Season Three. In addition, Plunder will also be making a comeback, much to the delight of those who have grown weary of the grind of battle royales.
The Warzone ecosystem’s resurgence of diversity is nothing but a good thing. The number of players has been declining for some time. Twitch and YouTube viewership is declining, and more creators are leaving the game daily. The arrival of a Ranked Mode will bring about such a significant alteration that it might even breathe new life into the scene.
Warzone has been a casual game since its release in 2020. It’s a game that boasts a linear style of play, with players simply loading in over and over again with no real finish in sight. There is no actual ranking system or tier system either.
According to Call of Duty UK on Twitter, Warzone 2 will get a Ranked Mode in Season Three, which will undoubtedly change the game. Players will now have a clear objective to work towards as they advance through the ranks and tiers to be recognized as one of the top Warzone players worldwide.
Let’s say it passes for the new Ranked Mode in Modern Warfare II. To advance online, gamers can then unlock exclusive skins and cosmetics. Additionally, it can be subject to more stringent limitations, like a ban on particular tools, perks, or weapons.
Season 02 is almost live, and there’s more on the way. Here’s a taste of what’s next:

Plunder is also scheduled to make a comeback in Season Three for followers of respawn-driven modes. This was first launched early in the Warzone game’s lifespan, giving players who desired a break from the regular battle royale experience access to a considerably more casual game mode. How Warzone 2’s Plunder will differ from the original version is still being determined. Still, we can be sure they’ll take some steps to set it apart from the competition.
If you weren’t aware, Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2’s Season Two update is now accessible across all platforms. It includes a brand-new Warzone 2 Resurgence map, five new weapons, packages, mid-season events, and a new multiplayer map.
