The head of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECAS) Commission, Ambassador Gilberto da Piedade Verissimo, received His Excellency Adviser to the Royal Court, Mr. Ahmed ben Abdulaziz Cattan, in the presence of Gabon Foreign Minister Mikael Moussa Adamou at the organization’s headquarters in Libreville yesterday Tuesday. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the Kingdom and the organization, and also discussed the possibilities of expanding economic and investment cooperation and joint coordination in the interests of common interests.
Following the meeting, the organization issued a statement reaffirming its strong support for the Kingdom through hosting two summits, the “First Saudi-African Summit” and the “Fifth Saudi-African Summit” in Riyadh, as well as support for the Kingdom’s candidacy to host Expo- 2030″ in Riyadh, emphasizing that this support comes from the fact that the Kingdom has great ambition and the ability to achieve the highest level of innovation and provide an unparalleled experience for this global version.
For his part, Councilor Kattan expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this support, which comes from the good relations between the Kingdom and the members of the organization.
