Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his victory in the second round of the presidential elections in Turkey held on Sunday.
The Hungarian prime minister wrote on his Twitter account: “Congratulations to President Erdogan on his landslide election victory.” Orban added in Turkish: “Congratulations, Mr. President!” Attached is his photo with Erdogan.
Erdogan won 52.21% of the vote in the second round of the presidential election after about 99% of the votes were counted, according to the Turkish Central Election Commission, citing the state-run Anadolu agency. While opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu won 47.79% of the vote.
