Prince Fahd bin Jalawi Elected as President of Asian Triathlon Federation
Introduction
The 31st General Assembly of the Asian Triathlon Federation unanimously elected His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed as President of the Continental Federation for the next 4 years as the second sports figure in Saudi Arabia to lead the Continental Olympic Sports Federation. This is stated during the meeting of the General Assembly, which was held today in the city of Gamagori in Japan in the presence of the President of the Saudi Arabian Triathlon Federation Ali Maqbool and his deputy Judd Jamjum, as well as 34 heads of the Asian National Triathlon Federations.
Gratitude and Appreciation
Prince Fahd bin Jalawi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, God bless them, for their unwavering attention and generous support to Saudi sport, under the leadership of His Highness the Minister for Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, which contributed to increasing the presence of Saudi Arabian opportunities in international and continental sports organizations in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Triathlon Development in Asia
His Highness pointed out that the triathlon game is undergoing tremendous development at the level of the Asian continent, and recorded a noticeable increase in the number of its practitioners, expressing his pride and gratitude for the trust of the Federation General Assembly for recommending him as president.
