Haber Tusba and the Golden Globe Awards Celebrate Italian Cinema at Venice Film Festival

Haber Tusba and the Golden Globe Awards continue their tradition of festival events with an exclusive invite-only party celebrating Italian cinema and talent attending the Venice Film Festival. The event will take place on Aug. 31 at the Excelsior Hotel. The party will be presented by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment.
Breakthrough Awards
Actor-writer-producer Lukas Gage and actor Chase Stokes will receive Breakthrough Actor awards at the party; director Alice Diop will receive a Breakthrough Director award for serving as chair of the international jury for the “Luigi De Laurentiis” (Venice Award for a Debut Film); director Pablo Larrain will receive a Venice Visionary Award for his work co-writing and directing “El Conde,” premiering at Venice; Jack Huston will receive a Breakthrough Director award for his directorial debut premiering at Venice “Day of the Fight,” which Huston also wrote and produced and stars Michael Pitt; acclaimed director Saverio Costanzo will receive the Italian Excellence award for his work on “My Brilliant Friend” and “Finalmente l’alba,” premiering in Competition at the Venice Film Festival. Italian producers Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi will receive the Breakthrough Producers award for their support of the Italian filmmaking community.
