Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Condemns Sabotage of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Sudan
His Excellency the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Professor Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and condemnation of the acts of sabotage and intervention of armed groups in the building of the Royal Embassy. Saudi Arabia in Sudan and its outbuildings, in addition to the destruction of housing and property of employees working in the embassy.
His Excellency emphasized the Secretary General Assembly stressed the need to stop this escalation and target the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their buildings, as this is a serious violation of diplomatic agreements and international law.
His Excellency reiterated his call to the parties to the conflict to respect international agreements and diplomatic norms guaranteeing the integrity and security of the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their staff, and that such illegal actions contribute to the aggravation and chaos of the security situation in Sudan.
