Strong Condemnation by General Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council
His Excellency the General Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, has strongly denounced and condemned the recent assault and vandalism by an armed group at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the home of the Ambassador to the Republic of the Sudan. The attack is a serious violation of international law and diplomatic agreements, and His Excellency has emphasized the need to stop all forms of violence and vandalism, especially those directed against diplomatic missions and their buildings.
Urgent Call for Humanitarian Truce
In response to the recent violence, His Excellency has reiterated his call for all parties involved in the conflict to move quickly to intensify the humanitarian truce. He has also called for the respect of international agreements and diplomatic norms that guarantee the integrity and security of diplomatic mission headquarters and their staff. Additionally, he has urged all parties to seriously engage in ongoing negotiations to reach a comprehensive political declaration that ensures the security, stability, and prosperity of the Sudan and its brotherly people.
