Today, the nine-day Asian Weightlifting Championship among youth and juniors has started in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, with the participation of our national youth and youth team among 261 male and female players representing 21 countries: (Kingdom – Bahrain – UAE – Jordan – Syria – Bangladesh – Indonesia – India – Iran – Iraq – Kazakhstan – Kyrgyzstan – Korea – Mongolia – Philippines – Sri Lanka – Thailand – Tajikistan – Turkmenistan – Uzbekistan – Vietnam). Directors of the Saudi Arabian Weightlifting Federation and Head of the Women’s Committee Fawziya Ahmed Hoban and each of the players: Muhammad Ali Al-Zuri – Jasem Muhammad Al-Zuri – Jawad Adel Al Qaisum – Hassan Basem Al-Marzouk – Muhammad Basem Al-Marzouk – Youssef Fakhri Al-Mudarham – Abdul Majid Muhammad Al-Kulaibi – Hossam Ali Al-Dagham – Lian Al-Kurashi – Nujood Al-Harmy – Rafif Jaar – Hanan Amri under the guidance of Estonian coach Ekor Beskrov, his Tunisian assistants Rania Bahlul, national coach Abbas Al Qaisum, and administratively by King Osama Balila and Physiotherapist Mujtab Al-Ahmad and media personality Mutaib Al-Jawhar, participating in the management of the tournament, as international judge Abdul Karim Asiri.
