In a press statement, she explained that what the Saudi Arabian team achieved by winning the gold medal in unified football at the championship held in the US city of Detroit, after defeating the Romanian team with a score of 3: 1, is the first global achievement achieved by the Saudi special forces. . Olympiad with a new roster, congratulating the team on achieving this achievement, celebrating the efforts made by the technical and administrative staff and players during the tournament, which culminated in world gold.

The President of Special Olympics announced that there is a new Saudi program plan under the leadership of the national director and a working group of the Federation of trained and qualified national personnel to launch many local events aimed at increasing the number of athletes from the category of persons with disabilities in the Kingdom in preparation for participation in the World Summer Games to be held in Berlin, Germany in 2023 with over 7,000 male and female players from 170 countries.
