Ghana beat Switzerland 2-0 in a friendly that brought them together yesterday Thursday at Al Nahyan Stadium in the Emirates as the two teams prepare for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Mohamed Salisu opened the scoring for Ghana, first in the 70th minute of the second half, then substitute Antoine Semeneo reinforced Ghana’s lead with a second goal for Ghana in the 74th minute.
Ghana is in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea, while Switzerland is in Group G with Brazil, Serbia and Cameroon.
