France strongly condemned the attack carried out by the Houthi militias using two drones on the oil port of Al-Daba in Hadhramaut province.
The French Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement today that the attack constitutes an unacceptable threat to international maritime trade and freedom of navigation and that such an attack constitutes a serious and egregious violation of international law.
The statement called on the Houthis to take responsibility and stop the escalation, condemning the lack of progress towards a new truce in Yemen, whose responsibility lies directly with the Houthis.
He praised the commitment of the Yemeni government to a truce and a political settlement, as well as the efforts made by the Kingdom, Oman and the countries of the region in this direction, reaffirming France’s commitment to peace and unity in Yemen, as well as regional stability and security.
