Senegalese President Macky Sall issued a decision appointing former Foreign Minister Amadou Ba as Prime Minister to head a new government of 38 ministers, more than three years after the abolition of the post of Prime Minister.
A statement released by the President of Senegal said that “Amadou” (61), a tax specialist, was foreign minister and former economy minister and was appointed prime minister.
The new prime minister said after meeting with the President of Senegal that the main priorities identified by the President include increasing the purchasing power of families, reducing inflation, security, housing, vocational training, employment and encouraging projects.
