The Russian agency “TASS” reported that the first train carrying refugees from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics in southeastern Ukraine has reached the Russian province of Voronezh.
The agency added that the train departed from Taganrog, Russia, to Voronezh on Saturday.
These refugees are planned to go to temporary accommodation points in the province, including the “blue screen” and “Kerovets” camps for children.
Local authorities had previously announced that the first refugee train would carry 500 people to the state.
