The FIFA International Football Association has announced that it will give away more than $200 million to clubs that allow their players to participate with their teams in the tournament, and will give each player $370,000.
The World Cup winner will receive up to $42 million, the runner-up will receive $30 million, and the third-place team will receive $27 million.
The fourth-place team will receive $25 million. As for teams in fifth to eighth place: $17 million per team, and teams in ninth to sixteenth place receive: $13 million per team.
And teams from 17th to 32nd place receive $9 million for each team.
The $10,000 daily amount will be multiplied by the number of days each player stays in the World Cup, starting two weeks before the opening match and ending one day after the last match for their country, FIFA said.
The total is then distributed among the clubs for which the player has played in the last two years prior to the World Cup.
Notably, Qatar will host the World Cup final from November 20 to December 18, 2022, as the first Arab country to host a big football wedding, and the first time in the winter season in the tournament’s history, to the number of these teams increased to 48 starting with the 2026 edition. In America, in cooperation with Canada and Mexico.
