FIFA gave Al-Ittihad 45 days to pay $2.5 million in favor of Youssef Nyakati.
According to lawyer Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Niakati left the Al-Ittihad club and had financial contributions that he did not receive, prompting him to apply to FIFA to receive these contributions. Al-Sheikhi explained via his personal Twitter account that after several meetings, FIFA resolved the case in the player’s best interest and ordered the Al-Ittihad club to pay $2.5 million.
Al-Sheikhi added that FIFA gave Al-Ittihad 21 days to appeal the decision, and the federal administration demanded to explain the reasons for the decision, but the 21-day period expired and Al-Ittihad did not file an appeal, so the decision became final and had legal force. to pay $2.5 million in addition to the financial benefits that are added to the principal on a monthly basis.
Al-Sheikhy explained that FIFA had given Al-Ittihad 45 days to pay the full amount plus interest on the player’s behalf, and Al-Ittihad would be required to provide confirmation to FIFA that it had paid the amount.
