Presidency of Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev’in announced that they were discussing “regional issues, especially the Russia-Ukraine crisis”.
In a statement released by the Turkish presidency’s communications department, it was stated that “during a phone call, the two leaders discussed ways to improve bilateral cooperation, relations with Armenia, and regional issues, in particular the Russia-Ukraine crisis.”
“Erdogan and Aliyev reaffirmed their determination to work in coordination on bilateral relations and regional issues,” the statement said.
