He expressed regret that the clashes took place in Sudan at a time when everyone was waiting for the negotiations of the Sudanese parties to end with an agreement on a new date for the signing of the final agreement and the formation of a civilian transitional government. He also deplored the lack of full commitment to a humanitarian truce to evacuate the wounded, stranded citizens and diplomatic missions, and the continued clashes, especially in areas of the capital Khartoum.
He said: “Serious events are taking place in Sudan that require immediate action as a result of clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, which have led to numerous casualties and further deterioration of the humanitarian situation.”

Dr. Al-Suhaibani emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through this meeting, reiterates its call to the brothers in the Republic of Sudan to calm down and refrain, give priority to the language of dialogue and national interests, and work to stop all forms of escalation in a way that preserves the opportunities and achievements of the Sudanese people, and strive to unite ranks in a way that contributes to the completion of the previous consensus reached, including a framework agreement aimed at achieving political and security stability, economic recovery and prosperity for the Sudan and its brotherly people. At the same time, the Kingdom welcomes the truce, the extension of the ceasefire and the provision of safe humanitarian corridors, expecting that this truce will contribute to the permanent cessation of hostilities and participation in dialogue in the name of peace, security, security, and the establishment of stability in all parts of brotherly Sudan.
