Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, said today, Saturday, that the blocking of former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account was a serious mistake, reports Al Arabiya.
Musk previously said that Trump’s account was restored to its previous status following an opinion poll, in which users supported the move by a narrow margin compared to those who opposed the decision.
“People have spoken out,” Musk tweeted, saying that 51.8% of the more than 15 million Twitter users voted to unblock Trump’s account.
But the ex-president of the United States may not return to the podium, saying earlier: “I see no reason for this.”
His account was suspended in 2021 due to the risk that his tweets could incite violence.
