The Egyptian Ministry of the Interior announced that the cost of the pilgrimage lottery for 2022 is estimated at 94 thousand pounds.
Documents Required from Hajj Lottery Winners
– A foreign mechanized passport for each winner and accompanying person (if any), provided that its validity is at least one year, starting from the date of November 5, 2022. The mechanical passport is handed over to the pilgrim who won the lottery and paid the costs of the Hajj, application of the original (for reading)
– Copy of certificate of immunization with basic doses (at least two doses) for (Covid-19) vaccine internationally approved by the Ministry of Health as a condition for obtaining a visa.
The issuance of a passport will be refused in the following cases:
Passport with holes on the first data page.
The national number or names on the passport are different from those on the card with the national number.
There are no blank pages in the passport.
– The renewed passport has an expiration date from the inside.
Without attaching the original + copy of the International Vaccination Certificate to the basic doses (at least two doses) for the (Covid-19) vaccine.
– Medical card for vaccinations (seasonal influenza vaccine, quadrivalent vaccine ACYW-135 “meningoencephalitis”) or any other vaccinations determined by the Ministry of Health, if kept.
– A medical report certified and stamped by one of the hospitals affiliated with the announced Ministry of Health, confirming that he is in good health, that he is free from all diseases approved by the Ministry of Health, and that he is able to perform Hajj. .
– A mechanized list of a criminal case (mechanized hajj fish) for each winner of the hajj lottery.
– A certificate of the draft status of the lottery winners and their accompanying persons (if any), who have reached the draft age. It should be noted that they present the draft document on trips.
– Three (3) recent and clear personal photographs (4 x 6), taking into account the following:
The background of the photo must be white.
The length of the head from chin to forehead is 70% or 80% of the image.
– Bearing in mind that men do not wear white hats and women do not wear white veils, as they cover the background of the photograph and are attached to the back cover of the passport.
The photographs are placed in a small envelope, on which the name of the pilgrim is written on the back of each photograph, and the envelope is attached to the back cover of the passport.
Travel Permit for those whose travel requires the approval of their employer.
– Certificate of movement from the General Directorate of Passports, Immigration and Citizenship.
Hajj fee collection
Payment of the full cost of the Hajj begins at all branches of national banks (Al-Ahly, Egypt, Cairo) and postal service offices at the Republic level through the state system of electronic payments and collection. Thursday corresponding to 06.09.2022 and payment will be made in the amount of the full cost of the hajj expenses for this year, namely: the amount of 74,500 seventy-four thousand five hundred pounds sterling, the cost of the hajj and the act of leadership, in addition to the cost of the air ticket 19,990 nineteen thousand nine hundred and ninety pounds, in the total amount of £94,490 ninety-four thousand four hundred and ninety pounds for each winner separately, except in cases of incest and companions, when payment is made together on two national identity cards.
– Non-payment of expenses during the period from Sunday 05/06/2022 to Thursday 09/06/2022 is considered the refusal of the winner of the opportunity to perform the Hajj.
– In the event of an apology after the fees have been paid, the expenses will be refunded to the winner, minus only the administrative costs and services rendered. As regards the refund of the airfare, the winner submits a request to the General Administration of Administrative Affairs to receive a letter addressed to EgyptAir stating that the pilgrim did not travel, to take the necessary measures against him, without the slightest responsibility on the part of the Ministry of the Interior.
The winner of the chance to participate in the lottery must:
– Pilgrims who bring medicines for their treatment must carry medical certificates and prescriptions that indicate the use of these medicines personally and under the supervision of the attending physician, and the need to present them to the customs officer at the ports of entry to the Kingdom.
Disclosure of amounts, traded instruments, precious metals, precious stones and the like, the value of which does not exceed ($10,000) only ten thousand US dollars or its equivalent in another foreign currency.
– Comply with the instructions of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj not to take photographs inside the Two Holy Mosques by any means of photography.
Compliance with the instructions and regulations issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding prayer at the Two Holy Mosques and Holy Places.
By following the instructions of the Saudi Arabian authorities regarding the precautionary and preventive measures and social distancing that must be observed to prevent the Corona Virus (Covid-19).
The pilgrim must have an internationally approved vaccination certificate from the Ministry of Health regarding the pilgrim’s receipt of the main doses (Covid-19) of vaccines approved by the Ministry of Health, as well as the pilgrim’s alerted (PCR) examination. for the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) for a sample taken within 72 hours prior to the date of travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in the event that the medical smear result is positive for the disease, the opportunity to perform Hajj for the affected winner will be immediately canceled without any or responsibility from the Ministry of the Interior.
