Egyptian Chairmanship Praises Reestablishment of Diplomatic Relations between Kingdom and Iran

Egypt expressed its appreciation for the important step towards the resumption of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, intervention in its internal affairs, strengthening the concepts of good neighborliness and strengthening security and stability in the region. Presidential Spokesman Adviser Ahmed Fahmi said in a statement today: “His country looks forward to seeing this event have a positive impact on Iran’s regional and international policies and provide an opportunity to reaffirm its course towards adopting a policy that takes into account the legitimate concerns of the countries of the region such so as to expand opportunities for cooperation and strengthen positive communication between them in order to chart the path for a relationship that meets the aspirations of the peoples of the region for prosperity and progress.
