The Egyptian Interior Ministry announced that its forces had foiled an attempt to smuggle 10 tons of drugs in Suez. The video clip showed that the drug fighters were able, with the help of modern security equipment, including a drone and police dogs, and, in coordination with national and public security services, to track the formation of a gang specializing in the transport and smuggling of drugs using one of the vehicles , designed to transport petroleum gases for the transport of Fintas, indicated by the El Janain Police Department in Suez, in order to promote it to its customers in the governorates of the Republic.
Through investigations, it was possible to trace and identify the mentioned gangster formation, consisting of 3 criminal elements, two of which have a criminal record, living in the governorates of Sharqiya-Suez.
After the legalization of procedures, in agreement with the Suez Security Directorate, they became the object of harassment, and one of them was arrested when he was driving in the aforementioned car at the Al-Janain Police Headquarters, carrying 36,000 bags of cannabis drugs, weighing 3,600 tons , 2,300 rolls of banjo drug weighing 750.5 tons and 130 rolls of oxydrug weighing 250 kilograms, as well as some opium weighing 15 kilograms, money and a telephone.
It was also possible to arrest other defendants while they were at the Faisal police station in Suez, and they had money and 2 mobile phones.
