The Underrated Masterpiece of Yoshihiro Togashi: YūYū Hakusho
Introduction
When you think of Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter X Hunter may immediately come to mind. But have you heard of his first masterpiece, YūYū Hakusho? The anime series, based on the manga, is available in its entirety on Netflix until June 30. This generous program consists of four seasons and 112 episodes.
The Storyline
If you’re familiar with Dragon Ball, you’ll immediately recognize the inspiration behind this manga. The show follows the story of a rebellious teenager who, through a series of events, becomes a detective in the spirit world while trying to save a child.
