French club Marseille have announced that their Moroccan midfielder Amin Harit has sprained his cruciate ligament in his left knee, officially ruling him out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which starts on Sunday.
Harit was part of a 26-man squad announced last Thursday by new coach Walid Rekraki for the World Cup in Qatar, where Morocco plays in Group F competition against Croatia, Belgium and Canada.
And the Moroccan delegation arrived on Sunday at its residence in Doha, in preparation for participation in the World Cup final, and it consisted of only 7 players, who were joined by the rest of the players, invited respectively to Qatar, for their commitment with their teams .
