Cooperation Council Secretary denounces attack on Qatari embassy in Khartoum

His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and condemnation of the irregular armed forces that stormed and desecrated the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of the Sudan, as well as all forms of violence and vandalism, especially those that have recently been directed against the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their buildings. He reiterated his call on the parties to the conflict to take swift action to end military operations, exercise maximum restraint, avoid escalation, abide by international agreements and diplomatic norms that guarantee the integrity and security of diplomatic mission headquarters and staff, and spare civilian populations from the consequences of conflicts, urging all parties to seriously participate in the negotiations in Jeddah, achieve the Goal: a comprehensive political declaration that ensures the security, stability and prosperity of Sudan and its people.
