The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) at its headquarters in the Republic of Zambia today received His Excellency Adviser to the Royal Court, Mr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan.
During the meeting, His Excellency delivered a speech in which he spoke in detail about Saudi-African relations and ways to develop and strengthen them in all areas, emphasizing the desire of wise leadership – may God preserve him – to strengthen their relations with all African countries and in various fields that serve the common interest.
Councilor Kattan also talked about the two summits the Kingdom will host this year; The first Saudi-African summit and the fifth Arab-African summit, which will be held in Riyadh, God willing, stressing that the Saudi-African summit, which will be held for the first time, comes from the desire of the Kingdom’s government to strengthen partnership with all countries of the African continent.
His Excellency mentioned Expo 2030, which the Kingdom is looking forward to hosting in Riyadh, noting the announced support that the Kingdom has received from African countries.
For his part, Acting Secretary General Dave Hamman welcomed the organization of the visit of His Excellency Chancellor Kattan and his accompanying delegation, as well as the holding of the two aforementioned summits, commending the Kingdom’s tireless efforts through which it seeks to strengthen its relations with all African countries .
Haman announced the organization’s full support for the Kingdom’s holding of Expo 2030 in Riyadh, emphasizing that the Kingdom has great potential and ability to create a historic and successful version with the highest level of innovation.
