Today, China launched 14 new satellites into space aboard a launch vehicle (“Long March 2-D”). According to the New China News Agency (Xinhua), the rocket was launched from the Taiyuan Space Center in northern China’s Shanxi Province at 2:11:00 pm Beijing time (03:14 GMT), indicating that the satellites reached their scheduled orbits.
The launch marks the 462nd flight of the Long March rocket series.
