Police in southern Iraq’s Dhi Qar province revealed on Sunday the circumstances of a gruesome murder committed by a young man against his brother because he changed the secret code of his home Internet network.

For its part, the Al-Sednawiyah Police Station, one of the Judicial Police Department’s stations, handed over investigative documents relating to the death of a young man who sustained a neck injury while washing windows in a house, according to a statement from his family. As a result, he cut his spinal cord, causing complete paralysis and death.
However, in a police statement, he said: “During the investigation, after the Nasiriya Crime Squad received information about the investigation, a murder was suspected, and after the information was gathered and when the victim’s brother arrived at the combat department, he was charged, and an investigation was opened during which the evidence and the evidence against him were compared.” He added: “Thanks to this, the 22-year-old defendant (A.A.H.) confessed to the crime after arguing with his brother about changing the Internet code, stabbing the victim with a kitchen knife and trying to cover up the crime. the crime he committed.” He continued, “His testimony was included in the forensic confession and legal evidence was presented to him and it was consistent with his confession, and the investigating judge decided to arrest him based on article 405 of the Iraqi Criminal Code in order to complete the investigation in accordance with the rules.”
